Leadership Team Biographies

Michelle Reimer - Executive Director
Michelle joined Hope Pregnancy Ministries in 2007 as the Director of Clinic Services at Clear Choice Clinic. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse with an associate's degree from Montana State University; her nursing experience includes inpatient Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Surgery. In March of 2009, Michelle transitioned into the role of Executive Director; she is passionate about the cause of life, and is committed to providing education and hope to women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Michelle grew up in Whitefish, where she lives with her husband, Kent. They are blessed with five children and eleven beautiful grandchildren.
Jessica Robbins - Executive Assistant/Community Liaison

Jessica Robbins joined the staff of Hope in January of 2012; she'll split her time between management and tracking of donations and community relations. With a Bachelor's Degree in Individual and Family Development from Seattle Pacific University, Jessica is well prepared for this position; her outgoing personality, articulate presentation and passion for the prolife position make her a perfect fit. Jessica grew up in Bigfork and worships at Canvas Church.

Sandy Hanson - Office Manager
Sandy Hanson joined the Hope team in August 2012. Her love for her husband Neil and her two daughters has prepared her well for the caring work done at Hope. Her sweet spirit and compassionate nature, plus an Associate Degree in Accounting from FVCC are a perfect combination for the job. Sandy is a woman of consistent character who takes great delight in keeping the office organized and the books balanced. On her days off, you may find Sandy playing piano, gardening, or working any sort of puzzle. She and Neil worship at Christ Lutheran Church in Whitefish.

Debbie Otto - Resource Center Director
Debbie Otto has been involved with Hope since 1999, as one of our earliest volunteers. Since that time, she has served in many areas, but her passion has been teaching post abortion healing Bible studies. She also led the board of directors from 2010 - 2015. In April of 2015, Debbie became the director of Hope Family Resource Center, and feels as if her life has come full circle, once again mentoring and working with young families. Debbie was married to Art for 20 years before his passing in 2014, and together they have 5 children and 4 grandchildren.

Tawnya Bell - Special Events
Tawnya officially joined the staff at Hope Pregnancy Ministries in 2010 after a year of serving as a volunteer/sub-contractor. With over 15 years experience in event planning and design, Tawnya is uniquely equipped to handle all of our event planning needs. Tawnya graduated from Stillwater Christian School in 2002 and previously worked as the owner of an event and floral design company. She and her husband Cliff currently live in Bigfork with their four children, Jack, Emeline, Grace, and Molly whom they are passionately raising to love the Lord and respect Life.

Kristen Habel - Nurse Manager
Kristen began leading the nursing team at Clear Choice Clinic in June of 2015. A native of Wisconsin, Kristen received her Bachelor's degree in nursing at Viterbo University and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Alliance Theological Seminary. She served as a missionary at the Women and Children's Hospital in Koutiala, Mali, returning in 2014 to marry her childhood friend, T.J. Kristen and T.J. have two children and are actively involved in Fellowship Church in Columbia Falls, and enjoy outdoor activities including skiing, hiking and sports.

Kara Roberts - Registered Sonographer
Kara joined us in April of 2009. A Registered Sonographer, Kara was trained at Argosy University in Minnesota, and has worked for both Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane and Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Kara continues to work at KRMC, and her expertise makes her a valuable part of the Clear Choice team. She enjoys camping and outdoor activities with her family and friends, and lives in Kalispell with her husband Sean and their 3 kids. They love serving and worshipping at Fresh Life Church in Kalispell.

Tiffany Rietema - Staff Nurse
Tiffany joined the nursing team in 2016. She received her degree from University of Montana, Helena, and went on to practice med/surg nursing and pediatric home health, as well as volunteering with Mercy Ships. Tiffany and her husband, Jon, have been married for 18 years and have 3 boys. They have called the Flathead Valley home since 2003, but in 2016 took a sabbatical in order to pursue their passion for missions by attending a family school of ministry then lead an outreach team to the Philippines. Tiffany loves coffee, good books, spending time with family, and seeing new places.

Rhonda Fisher - Clinic Assistant
Rhonda Fisher came to Clear Choice Clinic as a volunteer Patient Advocate. She quickly became indispensable, and was hired as Clinic Assistant in early 2015. Her skills as a certified phlebotomist and CNA, combined with impeccable administrative skills, make Rhonda an essential part of the ministry of Hope. She is well known for her compassion and tender spirit, and is the proud mother of two children. She and her husband, Doug, live in Columbia Falls and worship at Whitefish Naz.

John Lavin, MD - Medical Director
Clear Choice Clinic is blessed to have Dr. John Lavin serving as Medical Director. Dr. Lavin attended the University of Nevada Medical School, and did his residency in Family Practice, as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the University of Colorado. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a partner at Kalispell OB/GYN. John and his wife Anita have seven children. When asked why he is involved with Clear Choice Clinic, Dr. Lavin states, “I am involved with Hope Pregnancy Ministries because it is obvious that the Spirit of Jesus is working here.”
