A few weeks ago, a young woman walked through the door of Clear Choice Clinic. She was seeking information, but already had an abortion scheduled in another town. She felt torn by pressure and the opinions of others, and was truly seeking to find an option she could live with. After her initial counseling session and ultrasound, she continued to stop by the clinic and call for counsel, seeking advice from the Clear Choice staff she had come to trust. A week after her initial appointment, she sent us this message:
“I walked into the abortion clinic and canceled my appointment in person. I had to go all the way in the building for the feeling to really sink in… the girl was nice and no fees were charged…I am so glad with my choice. I walked outside afterward and instantly felt a ridiculous amount of relief. Thank you [Clear Choice Team] for being here with me. I’m so happy to know you and have your support and love. Confiding in you has been one of the best decisions I’ve made throughout this entire process and it would have so much more intense without your love and prayers and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be able to trust myself wholeheartedly if it were not for you.”
Never underestimate the power of love. Never underestimate the power of compassion. And never, ever underestimate the power of God.
